Her chosen packaging, the one pound, windowed TN-4PLA paper coffee bags, suits both her practical and creative needs.
"How our product looks on shelves and how it draws customers is quiteimportant," Jennifer states. Because of the clear front of her packaging, she says, customers don't have any question as to what they are purchasing for their dogs.
"As a new company in the dog treat market, it was important that we use packaging that could properly contain our product as well as maintain freshness and shelf life."
Her take out/to go paper coffee bags can house products in pound to 5 pound bags. Having a folding tin-tie enclosure at the top of her bag keeps the soft, specialty animal treats secure and maintains their best baked qualities.
These tin-tie coffee bags have also become a favorite of bakery owners and coffee shops that want to add their own company labels and details about their product on their packaging.
"We were looking for packaging that would not only allow us to visually display the actual product within the package, but also give us a good anvas' for marketing our brand and providing our customers with the nutritional information they need," Jennifer explained.
In addition to a pleasing look and a distinctive design that preserves freshness, Jennifer's bags needed to be made from environmentally conscious materials. Using a compostable product made from 25% post-consumer material and PLA lining allows her to stay true to her earth-friendly mission.
"We were very happy when we realized that the paper bags we purchased from Food Packaging Warehouse met not only our packaging and branding requirements, but also were eco-friendly and compostable! This fully aligns with our corporate philosophy of caring for the environment."
Jennifer says the success of her current packaging has motivated her
to develop her business, target more clients and add more food products.
"In
the future, we will continue to expand our product line for horses, as
well as develop products for other animals." Jennifer added that a
wholesale online food packaging retailer is an important part of her
plans.
"Of course, we will need to look at packaging alternatives for these initiatives, and look forward to working with FPW on this."
